Mutual of Omaha’s Future Skyscraper Climbing Higher, on Track to Open in 2026

The Mutual of Omaha Tower continues to take shape in the heart of downtown Omaha. In a recent interview with Molly Hudson from KMTV, Lanoha’s EVP of Development, Stephen Harris, shared that the project remains right on track for its anticipated 2026 opening.

As of this month, major construction milestones include:

• The tower core has reached floor 37
• Steel framing is underway on floors 26 and 27
• Glass is steadily wrapping the exterior, transforming the skyline
• Interior work, including framing, drywall, mechanical, and electrical, is well underway
